HBFC plans to develop real estate project in Pakistan

LAHORE: House Building Finance Corporation (HBFC) is planning to build real estate project through Real Estate Investment Trust (RIET) financing of its land in Lahore and Islamabad.

According to HBFC sources, office complexes and a residential colony might be developed under the project.

Meanwhile, HBFC will also finance housing projects being developed by an NGO 'Saiban' on the outskirts of Lahore and Karachi.

Sources said that the NGO is planning to develop low-cost satellite towns on the outskirts of these two major cities over 100 acre land each, following the model of Khuda Ki Basti, a project executed earlier by this organization.●
