UNHCR AHC to visit Pakistan on August 10

ISLAMABAD: Assistant High Commissioner, UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Ms. Judy Cheng is likely to visit Pakistan on August 10 (Thursday).

During her two-day official visit, she would call on senior government officials and discuss voluntary repatriation process of Afghan refugees living in Pakistan.

Ms Cheng would visit the Afghan refugees camps in the different part of the country.

She would also visit the affected ares of NWFP and AJK ravaged by last October earthquake, UNHCR sources told here Tuesday.●
