Pakistan's Envoy Durrani presents Credentials to Bush

WASHINGTON (US): Ambassador Mahmud Ali Durrani has presented his credentials to the US President George W. Bush in an impressive ceremony held at the White House.

In his remarks on this occasion, Ambassador Durrani said his endeavour would be to further strengthen and expand the strategic partnership between the two countries in the light of the understandings reached during President Bush’s meeting with President Musharraf in Islamabad in March this year.

He said he was looking forward to working closely with the US Administration and Congress to intensify cooperation between the two countries in diverse fields.●
