Pakistan to host 23rd Asian Snooker Championship

COLOMBO (Sri Lanka): Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports (ACBS) Wednesday allocated 23rd edition of Asian Snooker Championship to be held at Arabian Sea Country Club Karachi from July 02 to 8.

The continental event was allocated to Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of ACBS held under the Chairmanship of its President Sindhu Pulsirivong of Thailand was attended by delegates from 16 countries taking part in on-going Asian championship.

Member Managing Committee PBSA, Alamgir Shaikh attended the meeting and presented the bid after Ali Aghar Valika could not attend the meeting after felling sick.

Alamgir Shaikh briefed the AGM about the details of the championship and venue. Later, General Syed Mahboob while lauding Pakistan's immense contribution expressed the hope like in the past the event will be a great success in Karachi. ●
