IRSA increases Water Quota of Sindh, Punjab

ISLAMABAD: Indus River System Authority (IRSA) has increased water quota of Sindh and Punjab by 8000 cusecs and 4000 cusecs respectively due to increased water availability in the rivers and dams.

IRSA increased the water supply on request of the Sindh and Punjab provinces, the sources said on Saturday.

The IRSA has also increased water outflow in River Indus up to 44000 cusecs as increase in water level, at rivers and dams, continues.●
