Kashmiri leader Gilani asked to appear on August-6

SRINAGAR (IHK): In occupied Kashmir, senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader Syed Ali Gialni has been asked to appear before the court of sessions judge Poonch on August 6 in connection with fake cases, reports Kashmir Media Service.

Gilani was asked to appear before the court today but his advocate informed the court that Gilani was unable to appear due to bad health.

It is pertinent to mention that Syed Ali Gilani was arrested immediately after his arrival in Mendhar town of Poonch last month, where he was scheduled to address a public meeting.

He was on a weeklong tour of the twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch.●
