Protest against killings Continue in India

SRINAGAR (IHK): In occupied
Kashmir, forceful protest demonstration led by the President of Democratic
Freedom Party (DFP), Shabir Ahmad Shah was held against the killing of a
youth Inayatullah Butt last Friday in Srinagar.
Thousand of people, including women and children gathered and staged a
sit-in on the road, shouted pro -liberation and anti-India slogans.
The protesters demanded the withdrawal of troops from occupied territory.
It was the sixth consecutive day of protests over the killing.
Addressing the demonstrators, Shah said the killing of Inayatullah, was the
murder of humanity. "His only fault was that he was innocent," he said.
The DFP President stated that the innocent killings take place despite the
announcement by the Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh regarding zero
tolerance of human rights violations.
The Indian troops continued to follow the policy of suppression. He said
that such incidents would continue to occur until there is demilitarization.
A troop of 10 Madras Regiment Raju Kambli was killed and another Anil Kambli
injured in an attack at Kalaroos in Kupwara.
A police constable severely thrashed and injured a youth at Magarmal Bagh in
Srinagar. People staged protest against the incident.
Dead body of an abducted person was recovered near Payeen, Tral.
Indian troops during military operations arrested two youth from Tral and
Srinagar areas.●
