Karachi Girl Jumps to death from Third Floor

KARACHI: A girl, 20 was killed allegedly by jumping from the third floor here in Buffer Zone area could not be identified.

Buffer Zone police told that that the girl, 20 chased by some persons had taken refuge in the flat of one woman named Yasmeen at Sarina Tower near Sakhi Hassan Chowrangi.

Meanwhile, two persons including one in police uniform came at the flat, the girl in panic jumped down from the balcony, according to Yasmeen.

Police have taken Yasmeen into custody.

The dead girl was named Irum, it is learnt. However, her relations could not be traced. Police have handed over the body to the Edhi Centre.●
