First phase of reconstruction near completion in Azad Kashmir

ISLAMABAD: The preliminary phase of reconstruction and rehabilitation work in quake-affected areas of Azad Kashmir is nearing completion.

The construction of government institutions will begin within next few weeks, Voice of Germany reported. Authorities say that work on this project will begin with full force after receiving master plan from Japanese donor agency, JICA.

According to details, Azad Kashmir government has distributed 17 billion rupees so far among the quake victims.

A number of government and non-governmental organizations are still busy to clearing the debris, the report added.●
