Pakistan police arrest suspect in Attacks

KARACHI: Police arrested an extremist Wednesday allegedly behind multiple attacks that killed more than 150 people in southwestern Pakistan since 1999, an official said.

Usman Kurd, a member of the outlawed Lashkar-e-Jhangvi organization, was arrested after a gunbattle in the southern port city of Karachi, said Fayyaz Khan, a senior police officer.●
