Training Camp: Pakistan team kicks off second phase for England Tour
Pakistan Times Sports Desk

LAHORE: The second phase of the training camp of Pakistan cricket team for upcoming England tour has begun here in Qadaafi stadium.

In the morning session, 13 out 16 players participated in the camp, however skipper Inzamam ul Haq and bowling coach Waqar Younus had not reported the camp due to fever.

Inzamam said he had been suffering from fever since last two days but will join the camp after a day’s rest.

Two other players, Rana Naveed ul Hasan and Muhammad Asif will also join the camp on Tuesday after returning from England.

In the absence of Waqar Younus, coach Bob Wolmer monitored the bowlers, while field consultant Jonty Rodhes gave several fielding tips to the players.

He believed that the entire team was competent but they need more practice in fielding that would make them extra ordinary fielders.●
