Seize the Opportunity

ACCORDING to Press reports, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has conveyed to the MMA leadership that President Musharraf has agreed to convene an All Parties Conference (proposed by Qazi Hussain Ahmad) to review post-quake situation.

I request the political parties not to miss proposed APC, for it will not only provide them with an opportunity to show solidarity with quake victims but would also offer a chance to evolve an effective strategy to combat natural calamities like the one that has recently hit the country hard.

Remember, geologists say 60% of Pakistan is situated on the active fault line.●
