Tributes paid in Kashmir to martyred Mirwaiz, Lone

SRINAGAR (IHK): The Poonch and Rajouri cadre of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference held a meeting to pay tributes to two prominent Kashmiri liberation martyrs, Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone on their martyrdom anniversaries.

According to an APHC statement, the meeting paid glowing tributes to the two martyred leaders and it was pledged to take their mission to its logical end.

The statement said, the meeting reviewed the current situation prevailing in occupied Kashmir and noted that the dialogue process had not yet produced the desired results because of Indian obduracy.

Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone were martyred on May 21, in 1990 and 2002, respectively.●
