Pakistan’s trade deficit goes up 100pc

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s trade deficit during the current fiscal year went high 100 percent as compared to the corresponding period last year, it was learnt on Saturday.

According to ministry of trade the trade deficit during this year hit $ 9.42 billion as compared to $ 4.86 billion last year.

The trade deficit during this month was recorded $ 879 million showing increased deficit 34 percent as compared to the last month.●
