Lawyer in Pakistan fined for keeping cell phone on in Court

LAHORE: A Division Bench of the of Lahore High Court on Thursday imposed a fine on renowned lawyer M.D.Tahir for keeping his cell phone on in the courtroom.

The court directed the lawyer to deposit Rs 500 as fine in the fund of the Lahore High Court Bar Association, and collect his phone from the reader.

Earlier, on the court direction the reader took the cell phone into his custody.●
