Hurriyat Leaders for lasting solution of
Kashmir SRINAGAR (Indian held-Kashmir): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Syed Ali Gilani, has said that Kashmir issue cannot be sidelined as peace in South Asia depends on its lasting solution. Addressing a public meeting at Yaripora in Kulgam area of Islamabad district Friday, Syed Ali Gilani urged India to accept disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir so that the issue can be resolved peacefully. He also expressed grave concern over the increased state terrorism by the Indian troops. Other APHC leaders, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori and Basheer Ahmad Andrabi addressing public gatherings in Nowpora area of Sopore, reiterated Kashmiris' resolve to continue liberation struggle till its logical conclusion. A senior leader of the APHC, Shaikh Abdul Aziz, in a media interview in Srinagar emphasised the need of early resolution of Kashmir issue to the satisfaction of Kashmiri people. He expressed full confidence in the leadership of the APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani.● |
