Plan Sets-Off for Disneyland,
Amusement Park in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan shall
have a Disneyland and amusement park between Lahore and Islamabad shortly.
Blue prints of the plan, in the offing reveal that a fascinating restive
place alike Disneyland and amusement park will be set-up along-with the
Motorway.
Prime Minster Ch Sujhat Hussain was informed about the plan during a meeting
held on Monday in PM House. Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi has promised
to provide land for the project.
When contacted, Minister for Culture and Tourism Rais Munir Ahmed said
Tuesday that the foreign tourists specially from Gulf will travel to
Pakistan after the set-up of disneyland and amusement park.
Security for K-2 Golden Jubilee
To a question he said, foolproof security arrangements have been made for
celebration of K-2 golden jubilee.
He said, Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain has also issued directives to
interior ministry to cooperate with ministry of tourism.
To a question, he said to attract more mountaineers, abolishing royalty is
under consideration.
Programme
He said, golden jubilee celebrations of K-2 and 51st anniversary of Nanga
Parbat will start on July-10 in Islamabad, while the concluding ceremony
will be held in Skardu on July 31. He said more than 600 mountaineers have
been invited to participate in the celebration K-2 golden jubilee.
Hundreds of tourists will travel to Pakistan to participate in golden
jubilee ceremony which is a good omen for tourism industry, he said.
Responding to another question he said authorities have no differences with
hotels in Northern Areas and other parts of the country.
He said, government has issued directive to CBR not to levy any tax on one
and two stars hotels.●
