Eight Killed in Waziristan Tribal Feuds

PESHAWAR: While the political administration was striving to disarm the people in the back drop of terrorists activities in the region, the tribal feuds in the North Waziristan agency on Monday resulted in killing of at least eight people and injuries to many others.

Reports emanating from North Waziristan say that at least five people were killed in the Eidak area when two tribal groups clashed with each other over petty issue.

The Killed

Those killed, from both the sides, have been identified as Akhtar Deen, Jehanzeb, Abdul Manan, Syed and Mirgul.

In another incident the land feud between the rival groups left at least three people dead and injuries to many others. Two of the victims have been identified as Qayyum and Meera Jan and were stated to be real brothers.●
