Hurriyat leader among 9 killed
by Indian troops in H-Kashmir

SRINAGAR (Indian Held
Kashmir): In occupied Kashmir, the Indian troops martyred in custody a
prominent All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader, Muhammad Ismail Dar.
The martyred leader was the President of Jammu region of Democratic
Political Movement, a constituent of APHC.
He was arrested by troops yesterday evening from Seil locality of Doda and
his dead body was recovered today from a village near the town.
The brutal killing sparked large-scale anti-India demonstrations in Doda,
which were led by APHC leader Saadullah Tantray. A statement issued by
Hurriyat headquarters in Srinagar denounced the heinous crime, describing it
as the worst example of political vendetta.
Elsewhere, the Indian troops, in their fresh acts of state terrorism,
martyred eight more Kashmiris. A house at Batpora in Kulgam area was
destroyed and two dead bodies were recovered from the debris. Two civilians,
critically injured in military firing at Aarigam in Bandipora succumbed to
their injuries. Two Kashmiri youth each were martyred in Rajouri and in
Wangam area of Kokernag.
A dead body with slit throat was recovered from village Zangam in Pattan
area. One person was killed in a landmine blast at Dhundak bridge in Poonch.●
