Siege, search operations stepped up in Indian Occupied Kashmir

SRINAGAR (Indian Held Kashmir): The Indian troops stepping up siege and search operations in occupied Kashmir cordoned Lakhripa locality of Budgam district and started house to house search this morning.

In a similar operation personnel of 9- Rashtriya Rifles and Task Force laid a siege around Shart Kolgam in Islamabad district. The search operation was continuing when last reports came in.

In Srinagar, people brought out a procession in Narayan Bagh, Ganderbal to protest against Indian army's excess.

According to details Indian soldier clad in civilian clothes barged into the residential hosue of one Ghulam Qadir Shaikh this morning and arrested his son Mushtaq Ahmad Shaikh. The demonstrators demanded his immediate release and raised anti-Indian army and pro-freedom slogans.
