KARACHI:
Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) has signed two
memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with top Indian business
organizations to work together for economic and social
development of women entrepreneurs in the two countries.
Fifteen member delegation of WCCI, who have just returned from
India after 10-day successful business visit, signed an MoU
with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and another with
Ladies Organization of Federation of Indian Chambers of
Commerce and Industry (FICCI), said Begum Salema Ahmed,
National President and Chief Executive Officer, WCCI.
WCCI Central President, while addressing a press conference
here Friday at WCCI's Office here, said during stay in India
the delegation had fruitful meetings with representatives of
Indian trade and industry organizations/fora especially the
women entrepreneurs. Some members of the delegation also held
an exhibition of Pakistani products there and the response was
excellent.
