SRINAGAR (Indian Held Kashmir): In occupied Kashmir, protest Day will be observed on Friday (June 18) to invite world attention towards stepped up Indian state terrorism.

The call for observance of the Day was given Tuesday by the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani while addressing a press conference in Srinagar. He appealed to the people all across the occupied territory to hold forceful demonstrations after Juma prayers on this day to express their anguish against human rights violations by Indian troops. APHC Chairman condemned recent incident of demolition of mosque and killing of the Imam at Bohgund in Kulgam.

He urged upon the world human rights organisations like Amnesty International, Asia Watch and other groups to impress upon India to stop trampling of Kashmiris' basic human rights.
