Unknown Gunmen kill 4 in Held-Kashmir

SRINAGAR (Indian Held Kashmir): In occupied Kashmir, unknown gunmen shot dead four persons, including a contractor and wounded another in separate actions.

Unidentified gunmen barged into the house of one Abdul Ghaffar Bhat in the wee hours today and fired indiscriminately at the inmates at Nandwanpora in Budgam district. Bhat and his son, Ghulam Ahmad, were seriously injured and were rushed to hospital where Ahmad succumbed to his injuries while Ghaffar was in critical condition.

Abdul Rashid Malik, a contractor, was gunned down by unidentified gunmen near his house at Bowan-Zaldooru in Islamabad district of south Kashmir last night. The motive behind the killings was yet to be ascertained.

A 20-year-old young man, Muhammad Ayub Mir, was gunned down by unknown attackers at Aargam, in Shopian area. A dead body was recovered at Aarhama, in the same area.

Youth crushed to death

Meanwhile, a Kashmiri youth was deliberately crushed to death by military vehicle at Kadalbal, in Pampore.

The youth identified as Ghulam Muhammad s/o Abdur Rahman of Puhoroo Chek, was crushed to death by vehicle of Border Security Force (BSF).

He was rushed to hospital, SKIMS, in Soura locality of Srinagar, where he succumbed to his injuries. The enraged people strongly protested against this savagery.
