'Almost 88,000 civilians killed in Indian occupied Kashmir since 1989'

ISLAMABAD: Indian Occupational Forces have increased their acts of state terrorism in held Kashmir aiming to suppress freedom struggle initiated by Kashmiris.

During fifteen years of freedom struggle from January 1989 to January 2004, the Indian forces have killed more then 87,813 innocent civilians in their acts of state terrorism without any justification in the illegally occupied Himalayan state of Jammu and Kashmir, according to a KMS report.

The report says that about 6,571 custodial killings have been witnessed of freedom loving Kashmiris whose 'crime' was the demand to right of self-determinations under the charter and resolutions of United Nations.

More than 106,855 innocent Kashmiris have been arrested during the fifteen years of freedom struggle by the Indian forces. At present more than 7,554 civilians under detention have never been produced in any court. About 21,855 women have been made widow, while 9,131 women were molested by the Indian forces in Occupied Kashmir.

During the same period more than 105,296 children have been orphaned in held Kashmir. More than 104,418 houses, shops and other business markets have been destroyed by the Indian forces during the freedom struggle initiated by the Kashmiris for the right of self-determination.
