Moderate earthquake in north-western Pakistan

PESHAWAR: An earthquake of Moderate intensity was recorded by the Seismological Network of Pakistan Meteorological Department on Wednesday.

Preliminary analysis of Meteorological Station in Peshawar say that the earthquake originated at 1446 hours PST and its epicenter was about 300 kilometers North of Peshawar near Hindu Kush range in Afghanistan.

Officials say that there were no reports of injury or damage, officials said. The magnitude of the earthquake on international Richter scale was 5.0. The Earthquake was also felt in Chital.
