QUETTA: Two bombs
exploded in a residential neighborhood in southwestern
Pakistan, but no injuries were reported, a foreign news agency
quotes police as saying Saturday.
The explosions occurred late Friday in Quetta, the capital of
southwestern Baluchistan province, said Aziz Ullah, a local
police official.
Nobody has claimed responsibility for the episode. The motive
behind the incident is also not clear.
The news agency says that a bomb exploded near a police
station in Quetta on Jan-19. Another blew up under a tractor
at a road construction project in Kohlu, 220 miles east of
Quetta on Jan-25. Neither blast caused any injuries.
