ROME imported the great civilization and transmitted to Western Europe; America profited from European civilization, though missing for itself the realization that civilizations are generations of racial soul. The US is trying to pass it on, with a technique of transmission never equaled before. Some conflicts are too fundamental to be resolved by negotiations (if history may be our guide) subversion may go on. Edmund Burke emphasized that magnanimity in politics is not seldom the truest wisdom, and a great empire and little minds go ill together; a world order will not come by gentle men’s agreement, but through so decisive a victory by the sole super power that it will be able to dictate and enforce international law, as Rome did from Augustus to Aurelius. But such interludes are unnatural and exceptional; they will soon be ended by changes in distribution of military power. We have been told that man is competitive animal, that his states must be like himself, and that natural selection now operates on an international plane. States will unite in basic cooperation only and as long as, they, in common, are attacked from without. Cooperation against the ghost of Terrorism emerged as natural phenomenon, in the wake of 9/11.

Fukayama’s ‘End of History’ maintaining that democracy with all its flaws presents the ‘last best hope’ for people around the world albeit with cautionary note that too much of democracy or overdoing democracy can be harmful. Infact, Israel and natural allies are using it as exclusivity and redemption, for themselves. This democracy has overdone itself by usurping the rights of the weak and the backward; trespassed the limits of privacy and liberty. ARYOne Channel frequently displays the ‘Signs of Doomsday’ or ‘End of the Times’, drawing the current of chill across the heart, given the obtaining scenario in the global village. Rome was a cruel Empire, and it knew it so well that Cato, speaking of the many enemies of Rome, would say: ‘Let them hate us as long as they fear us’. Roosevelt and Churchill of the time are Cato’s perfect students.

President G.W. Bush declared war on terrorism after 9/11. The whole world responded with alacrity and unprecedented concern offering all out support. However, many a person like Thiery Messan have sufficiently undermind the legitimacy of America’s reposite in Afghanistan. Messan challenges the entire version of September 11 as cover up. He contends that the two options- strike on Afghanistan or generalized war on terror- had been studied and prepared much before the 9/11 attacks. He says that “ former Pakistani ambassador to Paris, Niaz Niak, who took part in talks held with American officials including Ton Simmon, Karl Inderfurth and Lee Coldern in mid-July 2001, had concluded that they would invade Afghanistan in Mid-October and overthrow Taliban Regime. ( The Big Lie, Thiery Messan, Carnot Publishing Ltd. 2002, PP. 155 ).

In Iraq the US unilateralism, punching the nose of UNO and throwing the entity of IAEA out of window, went straight ahead in ruining and occupying Iraq on 20 April 2003. All this was not to satisfy the urges of the US alone. The main urge stemmed from the self assumed Security concern of the Zionist state of Israel. America occupies the key strategic Region of the world and enjoys itself with the unlimited wealth of oil reserves. Dick Cheney has already purchased huge shares and contracts in Kuwait and Iraq both. CIA Director George Tenet recently said that he never believed there was an “imminent’ threat from Iraq. More over it is hard to find out any one outside the vice President’s circle of friends, who still insists that an immediate, unilateral invasion was necessary.

The mother of battles goes on. No one except the obsequesiously obedient proxies, though dismayed now with the inevitably disgraceful end to US occupation of Iraq, has ever applauded the so-called pre-emptive invasion of Iraq by US and UK. The world detests the roguish and Evilish actors of the centuries famous conspirators and fabricators of the Zionists Guided America. Given the ruthless circumstances obtaing within and around Pakistan, the Pakistanis must always act in the light of: “ Lo! As for those who sunder their religion and became schismatics, no concern at all hast thou with them. Their case will go to Allah, Who then will tell them what they used to do.” ( Al-ANAM- The Heights- Ch.6:160 ). And to deal with what is happening across the globe the Muslims should understand and follow: “ Sanction is given unto those who fight because they have been wronged; and Allah is indeed able to give them victory ; those who have been driven out of their homes unjustly, only because they said : Our Lord is Allah- for had it not been for Allah’s repelling some men would have brought down Cloisters and Churches and Oratories and Mosques wherein the name of Allah is often mentioned.” (AL_HAJJ-The Pilgrimage, Ch.22:39-41 ).

Now turning back to Funkayama’s ‘ End of History’ and the TV add mentioned above,one might like to ponder over what the hoax of Terrorism has pushed us inverdently to confront. The Prophecy in Surah AL_ DUKHAN_The Smoke, Ch.44:10-11’ the Holy Quran describes a lethal cloud which comprises deadly radiant smoke. In Surah, AL_MURSALAT_ The Emissaries, Ch.77:12 and 28-33, the Quran further qualifies the nature of this cloud. By the emissary winds (sent) one after another. By the raging hurricane; and, Woe unto the repudiators on that day! (it will be said unto them: Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; Depart unto shadow falling Lo! It throwth up sparks like the Castles, (or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. The words ‘move towards, indicate that mankind will be gradually Carried into an era where it will confront this calamity of tormenting cloud which offers no shade or protection. In this verse no mention of the sun has been made, just a fire, from whose blaze this shadow affords no protection. Rather the shadow of this cloud becomes a means of transmitting the torment of fire which emits it. This clearly is the description of a radioactive cloud. The people of the Seventh Century would not understand the significance of such a deadly cloud or Smoke.

This, in nut shell is the prevalent environment evolving the Global village particularly, since 9/11. What, by all probability, in the guise of terrorism, might be waiting the humanity for, has been, very briefly touched upon. May Allah, show us the straight path- the path of those who remained steadfast.
