PESHAWAR: The district
administration and political authorities started operation in
tribal areas attached with Bannu District for the recovery of
Punjab Minister for Sport Naeemullah Shahani who mysteriously
went missing from January 10 last in North Waziristan Agency.
On the first day of the operation, the Frontier Constabulary
and Khasadar Force arrested four tribesmen of Bakakhel tribe
and confiscated dozens of vehicles and sealed of over 100
shops, markets and hotels in city areas of Bannu and adjacent
tribal belt.
Provincial Home Secretary Abdul Karim Qasuria who is in Bannu
for the last of couple of days, is personally supervising the
search operation.
The Home Secretary held extensive talks with elders and maliks
of Bakakhel tribe a three day deadline was given to them to
recover the missing Punjab Minister.
