ISLAMABAD: Skiing activities at PAF Base, Kalabagh (Nathiagali) have started earlier by one month this year due to the first winter snowfall on November 16.

Ski enthusiasts are pouring into the only ski slope at Galiat area of PAF base, Kalabagh (Nathiagali) in reasonable number every day, said a statement here Sunday.

The ski slope is open for College/University students daily (inclusive of weekends and holidays) from 1000 hours to 1600 hours. The ski resort is easily accessible via Abbottabad, and is only an hour drive from the city.

Snow is likely to last for another one week. Presently Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is conducting a ski course for officers and children from nearby Schools. Proper courses for the School children from all over the country would be conducted during the main ski season i.e. January and February.
