Aisam reaches semi final of ITF Futures Int'l Tennis Championship
Pakistan Times Sports Desk

DERA DUN (India): Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan showed no mercy on the Indian Junior Champion Tushar Liberhan and crushed him in the straight sets with a score of 6-2, 6-4 to book a berth in the Semi Final of the ITF Futures International Tennis Championship in Dera Dun, India.

This championship is taking place on the hard courts of the Doon School Tennis Courts, which is very prestigious and famous boarding school of India. It was one of the first boarding schools set up during the British Raj.

Facing Aisam's powerful serves was a new experience for the upcoming India tennis star who failed to negotiate Aisam's aces. Tushar Liberhan was unable to show any resistance  in the first set but did give some fight in the second one.

At 2-5 down he managed to break Aisam's serve to deprive him of one of the two serve breaks advantages but Aisam was easily able to serve the match through in his next service game.

In the Semi Final Aisam will take on Dimitri Mazur of Uzbekistan.
